To be eligible (although not guaranteed) for an allocation, a wrestler must meet the threshold for at least 2 of the 3 selection criteria. Although Norstrem is ranked in the Top 30 RPI rankings, he does not meet the 70% winning percentage criteria and is not ranked in the Top 30 in the coaches panel rankings. You could still me left out for an allocation if you met 2 of 3 or 3 of 3 if there were 29 other wrestlers who also met the criteria but were deemed more worthy. For each weight class, there are 29 allocations with 4 at-large slots held until after the conference tournaments to get to the 33 wrestlers to complete in each weight class at the NCAAT.
